Wild Surrender
£260.00
Framed original cyanotype on conservation quality 300gsm white watercolour paper, with gold metal leaf detail. Presented in a white conservation quality mount with white wooden frame.
This work is inspired by how the UK is one of the most nature depleted countries in the world (Natural History Museum 2021). The intensification of agriculture has resulted in loss of habitats and there is an increase in pollution due to our throw away culture. I am interested in how we simultaneously celebrate nature whilst trashing it with our detritus. As natural habitats decline will nature be able to adapt to these new constructed habitats?
If you would like to know more about the cyanotype process, or learn more about the Natural History Museum report you can read about both on my blog.
