Smoke with silver metal detail on conservation quality 300gsm paper, in white conservation quality mount with a simple black frame.

The title of this work is from the poem ‘Silver’ by Walter de la Mare. It is a beautifully atmospheric poem.

Soot is deposited on the paper using smoke from a candle. You can read more about the process on my blog.
